Tonight A Must Win For Rangers

Tonight's Game 5 between the New York Rangers and Ottawa Senators is a must win game for the Rangers. After a disappointing overtime loss in Game 4, the Rangers need to regain their edge on home ice and take a 3-2 series lead. The Rangers need to come out with the intensity that their Head Coach, John Tortorella, comes with every night. If the Rangers cannot win tonight, there is a real good chance they will lose the series. Both games played in Ottawa this series have been very tight. Game 3 ended with a 1-0 victory for the Rangers. It was a hard fought win for the Rangers, and Henrik Lundqvist had one of his greatest playoff performances. In Game 4 the Rangers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with two power play goals but after that they fell flat. Ottawa was stronger on and off the puck, and beat the Rangers to nearly every loose puck. The Rangers looked to be out worked by the eighth seeded Senators, something the Rangers pride themselves on. It will be interesting to see what Ranger team comes to play tonight. Will we see a team that comes out fast with a good fore-check and a solid defense, or will we see a team that chases Ottawa all around their own end, and lose a majority of the face-offs? LGR
