Robinson Cano unable to win Derby

Robinson Cano, the captain of the American League team, had a tough night in Kansas City at the plate and from the fans.

Cano took a lot of heat from the fans in Kansas City for picking Mark Trumbo over the Royals Billy Butler. Cano was booed the most out of any player in Homerun Derby history when he was batting.

Cano wasn’t able to hit a homerun in his 2nd Derby appearance, after putting on a show in his first one. Cano had to be tired from a late Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN against the Red Sox in which the game didn’t end until around 1230am. It was said Cano didn’t get into Kansas City until around 5am.

Cano will be the starting 2nd Baseman for the American League tomorrow as the MVP candidate will be looking to redeem himself.
